The Golden Cleat

Cotton Sateen Chart Pillow (Lake Ontario to the St. Lawrence River)

$90

This vintage nautical chart pillow features a soft and luxurious cotton sateen fabric. Its high thread count allows for high resolution printing so even the tiniest details on the chart are preserved and the smallest text is legible. The square pillow cover is 18" and comes with a 20" faux down insert which fills out the corners. The nautical charts featured on our pillows are from the early 1900s.

The fabric is custom printed for us in California on American-made fabric and we sew each pillow in our studio in Clayton. All of our pillows feature invisible zippers which allow you to remove the insert and wash the cover. We recommend hand washing the pillow cover with mild soap and allowing it to dry flat. It can be ironed on a high setting.

This pillow features Lake Ontario from just west of Rochester to the St. Lawrence River. By covering considerable territory, this map shows the Thousand Islands region in a broad geographical context. Besides Rochester, it includes the towns such as Sodus Point and Oswego along the southern coast of the lake in New York State. Along the northern shore in Ontario, Canada, some notable locations include the town of Belleville and the "other" Prince Edward Island, the Bay of Quinte, Amherst Island, and the city of Kingston. Along the eastern shore you can find the lake towns and bays which lead up to the Thousand Islands: Henderson Bay, Sackets Harbor, Black River Bay, Dexter, Chaumont, Point Peninsula, and Three Mile Bay. The Thousand Islands region officially begins at the mouth of the St. Lawrence River with Wolfe Island, Kingston, and Cape Vincent. This map includes the most of the Thousand Islands region, past Alexandria Bay and onwards downriver to Grenadier Island.
