Sideways Muskie Necklace

Muskellunge, commonly called muskies, are one of the most sought after trophy game fish in the St. Lawrence River. Anglers come from all over the world to the Thousand Islands region in search of these impressive fish, which can grow to be several feet long. 

When you catch a muskie it’s very important that you hold it horizontally, supporting the fish's weight so as not to damage its internal organs. This safe catch and release fishing practice has been encouraged and adopted by anglers in recent years, paving the way towards a healthy, sustainable muskie population for future generations.
